What is a trading signal? top

A trading signal is a price (or level) which we consider optimal to trigger a purchase or a sale. We issue trading signals twice a day: at the beginning of each trading session, around 9:45 EST, and again at the end of each trading session, which is at about 16:00 EST.

The aggregate trading signals is what we refer to when we mention our trading methodology or trading system.

     How are signals delivered? top

Trading signals are always posted on the Member's password protected area of our website, and can also, at your request, be delivered by e-mail and/or to your cell phone or PDA. Usernames and passwords to access the Member's side of our website are delivered to paying subscribers as well as users who have registered for a free 1 week trial.

Signals are also posted with a few hours delay on the public side of our website.

Is there a signal every day? top
Trading signals are issued every day the (S&P 500) market is open, but these may or may not be reached.

Do I have to keep orders overnight? top
It is not rare that positions (purchases or sales) established during a trading session are kept overnight. The decision to keep a position overnight or to close it is determined by our trading system at the end of each session.

Can I trade options using your advisory? top

Even if choosing at-the-money strike prices, options do not offer the same pricing structure - and therefore trading characteristics than the contracts.

Options not being the best instrument for directional investment for short holding periods, we can not recommend using them to trade with our advisory.

Do I really have to follow all of your signal? top

Our trading signals are optimized for risk and reward and adapt to contemporary market conditions. Before making our trading methodology available to you, we have researched a very large number of trading strategies, and have selected the ones that offer the greatest reward over time.

You may find that a slightly altered trading strategy, such as closing out positions daily, may beat our performance over the short term, but the impact of such alterations over the longer term is guaranteed to be negative.

Please look at the extensive answer on capitalization given in the Glossary and User's Guide of the area for registered users.
